Caper favourite Petr Horáček will read from his brand new book 'How to Scare Blue Monster' and show you how to draw some of his favourite characters!

When something HUGE comes clumping through the forest, all the animals are scared. But it's only Blue Monster. Blue Monster doesn't know what it means to be scared. He asks his friends to teach him! Fox, Wolf, Racoon and the Rabbits try lots of scary tricks but nothing scares Blue Monster! Or does it?

Petr Horáček is an award winning author and illustrator of many picture books, including Silly Suzy Goose, Puffin Peter, Blue Monster, The Greedy Goat and Blue Penguin.

Any one who likes picture books is welcome (best for ages 3-10)

🎨Kids' Art and Story-time Sessions at Caper🎨

Every Mon and Fri,
10:30-11:30

Art sessions will resume as normal from Friday, 11th September (please note there will be no art sessions on 4th and 7th Sept)!

An art session for toddlers and parents designed to encourage creativity (for ages 2-5). New theme each week! Explore colour, paint and printing to create a creative artwork. Art sessions are led by Tereza Horáček local artist and experienced art teacher.

£9 tickets. Ticket grants admission for both a child and their accompanying adult. We ask that the grown-up remains present throughout the session.

Music sessions for children aged 0-5 and their caregivers. Exploring music, movement, stories and play while fostering early development and creativity.

Each session will include a variety of instruments and props for the children to engage with and explore music making and story telling together. Led by Allison Isaak, an experienced music and early years teacher .
