☀️Human connection is so important to me. The way you feel when you share a joke with someone without understanding a single word of each other’s language.
Today is WORLD PEACE DAY and the start of four days of prayer in Bhutan and I feel totally privileged to be here.
In a world that can sometimes feel difficult to comprehend, it’s deeply moving to be in a country that truly values peace, nature, kindness, and happiness.
This tiny kingdom, nestled between India and China, is leading the world in calling out for peace.
Prayer flags are everywhere — thousands line the roads, fluttering in the breeze with messages of love and hope.
This morning, I experienced the most beautiful Bhutanese meditation and yoga session with Sanjay at the incredible Pemako Resort. Having studied yoga in India, I found Bhutanese yoga to be quite different — deeply spiritual and perfectly aligned with the energy of World Peace Day.
If you’re looking for an elevated travel experience check out trip to Bhutan. It’s a magical adventure not to be missed!
I hope you’ve had a beautiful day too. If you have a moment, perhaps say a little prayer for peace. The more hearts that join in over the next four days, the stronger our collective message becomes.
Sending you love and sunshine,
