My gorgeous friend lost her papa 3 weeks ago. Last week she buried him and the thought of letting go of the coffin cord was too much for her.

The staff at Kenneth Keegan funeral directors offered to cut the cord so she could keep it.

I had popped this in my bag by the graveside while she threw her roses and graveside dirt on the coffin.

I was a bit of a deviant and took this home with me. I had his order of service, his cord and his ribbon, a huge Celtic fan throughout his life, we had made ribbons to match I put this together for her.

A beautiful keepsake for her to remember a man who loved her and who she adored. This was truly a memorial piece from the heart. Something that she can look at every day and remember that just because he is no longer physically by her side, he will be in her heart forever.

I am happy to make memorial pieces like this in the future for anyone who would like them. Price will be discussed at the time as I suspect that there may be many different elements.

But in the mean time, James, my best friends papa, the man I addressed as hi handsome (and he always rolled his eyes) when I visited, sweet dreams, may you Rest In Peace and know you will never be forgotten.

Goodnight Handsome, I will see you one day on the other side, don't worry, your girl is ok xx

We did pencil cases for the nursery again this year.

This year the head of the nursery approached me saying the kids loved them last year could I make them again. Only 28 this year and so I set work.

As always I forgot to take lots of pictures and we have another picture of my work on the towel where I have been working but I loved these by the time they were done and.from what I heard, so did the little ones.

This week has been all about the teachers gifts.I am incredibly lucky that we have wonderful teachers and support staff ...

This week has been all about the teachers gifts.

I am incredibly lucky that we have wonderful teachers and support staff at our school. My eldest is diagnosed ASD, and the little may be also. They come with their challenges and all of the staff are so good with them.

The amount of compassion and understanding shown is so appreciated. So I like to spoil our staff. The Head, Depute, 2 class teachers and 10 support staff who are all very active in helping with the kids.

Our Head Teacher is retiring this week (lucky man) and so I did something a little different for him.

People have said I am crazy but I do love an excuse to get crafting and what's better than gifts for those that I trust every day with my children's safety and education.

As you may notice I spend much of my creative time on the floor with a tb show on in the background.

This time we created end of year pencil cases for all of the (42 🙈🙈) children who were graduating nursery to start school.

We kept these ones simple due to the number that we were creating but the nursery and kids loved them.

We spent last week working on teacher gifts. 10 lovely bags for the Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Nursery Teachers....

We spent last week working on teacher gifts. 10 lovely bags for the Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Nursery Teachers.

All of these ladies work so hard to support my boys during their learning. My 4 year old finished nursery to start big school in August and we have had the same key worker for 4 years.

My 7 year old needs additional support for his ASD. I have so much love and respect for these women and wanted to make sure they were all appreciated.
