Hello!

Fairtrade Fortnight is just around the corner and last year I had the rather surreal experience of chatting with a young Cocoa Farmer, Felix Tetteh, direct from Ghana about how Fairtrade had affected his life and community.

I am delighted to say that Felix has agreed to join Paul and I at our next ‘Basket Banter’ online forum, on 10th September at 19:00.

Felix’s journey is a powerful reminder of how ethical trade can transform lives—not just for individual farmers, but for entire communities. He was born into a noble farming family in Ghana. His parents, both farmers, raised him in the small village of Abenabo where he attended the local school. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a lawyer. I could tell you more, but I am sure Felix can tell his story much better than I can.
