🌳We enjoyed a slower walk this morning and really appreciated the nature around us.
The leaves are turning and starting to fall, the fungi is starting to appear, and the berries and chestnuts are everywhere you look. 🍂

Lots of things going on, lots of stalls, games and food - inside and out - and we're currently being entertained by the local youth choir.
All for a very worthy cause.

It's time to get cracking on stocking up my Christmas decorations.

A trip to Hobbycraft was much needed, where I pretty much got everything I needed.

The next couple of months will be full on making ready for the Christmas Markets.

😊 Looking forward to next weekend and taking part in what looks to be a lovely Wellbeing Day.

I've got lots of seasonal decorations, greetings cards, tote bags, keyrings and ceramic baubles all ready to go.
Just a few more scrunchies needed, so that's what I'll be sewing this week.

There's lots to see and do, so make a space in your diaries and come along.

Now everything is unpacked and the house relatively tidy again I thought I'd put together some of the best bits from our holiday in Cornwall last week.

Special mentions go to

❤️The Old Albion - fantastic food, great atmosphere and just generally a great place to sit and relax.

❤️Healeys Cyder Farm - a great place to visit, where you can learn about the Cyder making process, go for a tractor tour, see the farm animals, eat some very tasty food and taste lots of cider.

❤️Cornish Seal Sanctuary - always my favourite places to visit - hidden away in Gweek this is a real gem, where the focus remins on the seals and not mass tourism.

❤️Lappa Valley Steam Railway - fantastic place to go, especially with younger children, although our mixed aged family group all had a good time.

❤️Sam's - an amazing restaurant in Fowey - lots of interesting memorabilia, super friendly atmosphere, and some of the best seafood around.

❤️Cornwall Gold - an old tin mill, fun activities for children, more delicious food and the chance to buy some real Cornish jewellery.

❤️The Flapjackery - delicious flapjacks in soo many flavours.

❤️Tarquins - tried a new flavour and of course came home with a bottle.

❤️Of course, Crantock beach itself was as always beautiful, and we all had a wonderful time.
