We spent the afternoon with friends doing this detective themed treasure trail in Bristol.

We had a lot of fun and saw things that would go unnoticed if you weren't really looking for them.

Climbing to the top of Cabot Tower was definitely a highlight with views right across the whole of Bristol.

Would highly recommend these TreasureTrails - there are sooo many to choose from.
Look them up and see for yourselves.
They make fantastic gifts and are great fun.
There's a map for any age and ability.

It's far too hot for dog walks at the moment, so early morning and evening meanders in the water is what we're doing.

The reflections in the water have been beautiful as we have been out at a calm and quieter time.
Mornings before everyone else turns up and evenings when they've all gone home.

A quick look into the process of how I decorate my tote bags.

Two examples here - toadstools and the always popular busy bees.

They are now ready for ironing and a lining panel (also preloved fabric) to be stitched inside to protect the stitching.

💦🌞 We are very lucky to live just minutes away from water, so, when the weather gets hot, the dogs go swimming (or paddling !!)

😊An early morning dip sets them up for the day.

🌸🐝🌸 The last couple of evenings I have finished decorating these two tote bags.

A few more to go to be restocked, but getting there slowly.

All my tote bags have made from recycled cotton and decorated with preloved fabrics or bits and pieces that I have left from various projects.
There will be a panel inside to line the front of the bag and protect all the stitching - also from preloved fabrics.

All decoration is cut and stitched entirely by hand.
