I can't believe it's been a month since I last posted anything on the grid! My focus has been on watering, harvesting the dried flowers and keeping everything alive through this drought!

Here's one of this week's bouquets, with some of my favourites, I will share the recipe on my stories if anyone wants to know whats in it 💐

Vanessa had such a beautiful vision for her dried wedding flowers, and I really hope I did it justice! The finished look was perfectly completed with the gorgeous velvet ribbon from Silk&Purl - Silk Ribbon & Florals 🌿 😍

Morning everyone ☀️ Gorgeous light at the field!

After the heat we've had this week, I'm hoping today will feel a little more bearable 🤞🏻 The flowers have been working hard, and there's been a burst of blooms!

I’ve been a bit quiet lately — busy with my other job, a broken-down car, and life in general — but I couldn’t let British Flowers Week pass, even if I’m a bit late to the party 🌿 🤦‍♀️

Finally had some time to see what's doing well and what needs composting. The drying rack is filling up nicely, just slower than last yr.

For British Flowers Week, I just want to highlight dried flowers — so much of what’s out there is imported! So if you can, choosing British grown really does make a difference 🇬🇧

It’s officially crazy season.......planting, pricking out, and repeat.

I’m still a bit hesitant to call myself a "flower farmer", but as this new space starts to fill up, it’s starting to feel like i'm finding my feet. One plant at a time! 👩‍🌾🌸🌱
