Fitted a Laminte flooring in big lounge diner lived in so plenty of furniture, uplifted old carpets etc. Full service even ordered over messages in not many minutes.

So if you sitting there looking at that old carpet and want a lovley laminte floor send me a message, book it in a few messages... it gets better you have to do barley anything, just the light bits we handle everything else.

Me & the apprentice have been over to today. Fitting a former church converted into flats. They are creepy places you know, converted churches, or even empty churches, I dont think I would live in one.

Something a bit off with them, like slanted rooms & the window too high. Just not a good vibe, too me anyway. Each to there own all my carpets are Bleech proof & ghost resistant 🤣

Back in the nice place tomoorow onwards, big old laminate week the rest of the week.

Measuring Friday may even have to do a Sunday this week, its that busy.

Oh too be young again eh ? Kyles got himself a girlfriend over the weekend, he was sworn off women for life on Friday. Now hes all hickeys & giggles hes been cheeky all day, bless 🤣

Engaged on Wednesday all over come next Monday is the usual routine. Feel free too tease him & make him blush.

Anyway... carpets, the beige one is the new saxony in this morning. Just selling loads for good reason, great carpet, great price, fitted perfectly. Lounges usually £500-£580 average.

Then we have been back to the dark place I was summoned back to help a family friend. Even in the bright sunshine its a bleak place. 😣 enter at your own risk.

Well… my day’s gone something like this 😂

Started off sensible enough — out with my boy and seeing a couple of lovley custimers bith in Penkridge.

Then we went see the dinosaurs at the crazy golf by the 3 Hammers 🦖⛳ you been? Pretty good there. Bit of fun for an hour.

After that we made the dangerous decision to “just have a quick look” around Southan Antiques near Junction 13…

So naturally, we came home with an 1832 sword and a giant Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters 🤦‍♂️🤣 im a child !?

Back to carpets tomorrow — although judging by the picture, apparently we now fight dragons as well.

Its budy tonight & im paperworking anyway so feel free message.

Friday is here again. Everyone well, I hope?

My boy’s back from uni, so he’s coming out fitting with me tomorrow.

Well… technically it’s his job. One of his mates needs a bit of help. Family living on floorboards with kids, and there’s a pile of carpet sitting there that just needs fitting.

You can’t really say no when it’s worded like that, can you?

I tried. He just gave me the look 👀

So Bill’s working Saturday 😂

Anyway, these are a few pictures from today’s job in , fitted in our new Saxony.

It’s simply a great carpet. Soft, thick, hard-wearing and priced a fair bit below what it probably should be.

I’ve done a cracking deal on this one for you.

As always, I can bring the samples to your home, measure up and give you a straight price. We can also move furniture, uplift and dispose of the old flooring, cut doors where needed and supply and fit the lot.

Without your recommendations, reviews and people tagging our name in local groups, EasyBuy simply wouldn’t work.

I’m genuinely proud of sourcing this one.

It’s a proper soft, thick Saxony with a twisted yarn, so it’s durable too. It comes in a lovely range of neutral colours and has a new advanced backing designed to make it warmer, easier to clean and less likely to hold onto dirt and smells.

Clever stuff.

One of those days where you get home, kick your boots off and think... "That was a good one."

Nothing too dramatic, just lots of lovely customers, plenty of laughs in the van and another day spent helping people choose their new floors.

It's funny really... we spend most of our days walking around other people's homes, but after all these years it still doesn't feel like "work". Every house is different, every customer has a story, and we genuinely enjoy it.

Thanks again to everyone who welcomed us in today. We really do appreciate every recommendation, every message and every job you trust us with.

Young Kyle he's a like a whippet, too be able move that fast again eh ? 🤣

Customer has thanked him personally today again, that stuff gets noticed.

He's got the hang of door bars hence they in every pic as he did em. Its time for a payrise sadly for me 😅

Tipping: Dont have to ask me if you want give the lad a tip btw. Doesnt have be cash, if you leave a review for him I give him a drink just like I do for all the other ftters. Also food hes 8 Stone wet he needs feeding 🤣 crisps, choc bar, dog food whatever

Honestly thank him personally or just a kind word really encourages the apprentices, gives them confidence.

I dont really have tips as I supply the carpets it me like tipping Tesco for selling you bread. The odd time it happens I give it lads.

Tomorrow Penkridge all day then over to Wheaton Aston, "The village of the dammed" I cant begin to tell you about the things that happened to us there 😧 people are lovley just cursed for us. Still we like a challenge.
