What a fabulous evening!
I’ve really enjoyed helping everyone create there lovely lantern panels, so much so I forgot to take any action pictures 😂
Everyone did really well and I can’t wait to see them once they have been fired.

Dots!
🟢🟡🟠🔴🔵🟣
The process of making dots is quite therapeutic 😆 chopping the glass, laying out on the kiln shelf so there not touching each other ( but obviously some managed to fuse together 😂)
Opening the kiln to lots of dots which are picked off the dusty kiln paper and washed thoroughly to leave nice shiny dots 🤩
These are used for all sorts and I always make a new batch for my workshops.

Prepping for my next lantern workshop, there is a real satisfaction in hearing that scoring of glass and a nice clean break!
My cutting mat needs a really good scrub though 😆
