Come and make your Christmas wreath with me,
Go into your garden, or a friends with permission obv and see what you can find, if you haven’t much then take a trip to your local florist and ask for a selection of strong mixed foliage, failing that you can snip from your hedgerows and common land, providing its only for you and you only take what you need. A mix of foliage, twigs, berries, grasses anything that takes your fancy. Take them home, put on your festive records and pour yourself a drink 🥃, whatever is your tipple. Tie two pieces of foliage together end and begins of each and do that a couple of times to make a continuous strand that you can tie together to form a circle ⭕️ ish, then add on your other bits of twigs, foliage and keep adding them in where you want them to go, always try to follow in the same direction but try looking at the foliage and see how it grows and go with it rather than against it, I’m using willow, beech, ivy, twigs with cones, and some grasses and berries and I’ve made the base first with the twigs and then added onto that, once your happy and you feel you have finished ( often less is more) think of negative space and balance before stuffing it full, add your bow or finishing touches and 🥳you got yourself your very own hand made Christmas wreath.
