Spooky season has landed at Clarke’s Fusions, and bath time is getting a Halloween makeover! 🖤

💙 Now available... a special collection of authentic Mdina Glass from Malta.

Founded in 1968, Mdina Glass is one of the world's most recognisable studio glass makers, celebrated for its rich colours, organic forms and individually hand-blown designs. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, making each one a unique work of art.

This collection includes a wonderful mix of signed and carefully selected unsigned pieces, from paperweights and vases to scent bottles, bowls and sculptural forms. Every item has now been individually listed with photos, measurements and descriptions.

✨ There is only one of each piece available, so once it's gone, it's gone.

🌧️🍂 GOOD MORNING, PENRITH! 🍂🌧️

I woke up surprisingly happy this morning, with a lovely cool breeze coming through the open window and the sound of rain gently tapping against the glass. There’s something so fresh and peaceful about a rainy morning—especially when you’re still warm and cosy in bed. 😂

The air feels cooler, everything smells fresher, and it’s beginning to feel wonderfully autumnal outside. 🥰

We’ve got four fabulous art glass handbag vases, each completely different and each a proper chunky statement piece.

A dramatic orange and dark brown-black design with flowing tiger-style stripes and twisted glass handles.

🩵🖤 Aqua Blue & Black Statement Handbag – £45
The heavyweight of the bunch at a whopping 1.81kg, with vivid aqua glass, sweeping dark stripes and an amazing sculpted faux handbag fastening.

💜✨ THE AMETHYST PORTAL HAS ARRIVED! ✨💜

And now we've actually got this beauty in the shop, we can finally reveal just how substantial it really is...

7.44 KILOGRAMS. 😂💜

Standing approximately 53cm tall, this incredible Amethyst Portal Geode is an absolute showstopper.

The photos honestly struggle to capture it. There are layers upon layers of milky Quartz, soft lilac Amethyst and gorgeous deeper purple crystals surrounding that huge natural portal opening, with little areas of sparkling druzy Calcite hiding amongst the crystal too. ✨

And look at it in the daylight! ☀️😍

The pale outer crystals almost glow, while those richer purple points around the centre suddenly leap out. Then you get up close and discover enormous individual crystal faces, tiny sparkling pockets and completely different formations around every part of the opening.

It really is one of those pieces you need to walk around and explore.

The stand itself has a little cosmetic wear from previous display, but nothing that detracts from the crystal and it could easily be refreshed with a coat of suitable metal paint.

This is officially one of the biggest Amethyst pieces we've had through the doors, and she's already making the rest of the shop look rather underdressed. 😂
