Cats Protection Charity Shop Penwortham Raising funds to support cats and kittens in the local area. Opening a charity shop has been an ambition of Preston Branch for some time.

The hard work and dedication of our volunteers has led to this fantastic shop, which will raise funds for the Preston Branch and help local cats and kittens. CP was the Charity Retailer of the Year 2016 and 2017, and the shop layout and ethos reflects that accolade. Just eight months after opening, we became the first CP shop in the region to receive the level 4 Volunteer Champions in Practice awa

rd from CP nationally. It's the highest level of the VCIP scheme and reflects the commitment and dedication of our paid and voluntary staff. Volunteers and donations are very much welcomed. Eager shoppers are also very much welcomed.

Sorry if anyone has turned up this morning and the shop is shut but this is for your own safety as unfortunately we’ve had a water leak at the front door over some electrics and have had to put a bucket in place and switch off the shop lights for safety reasons.
We are however able to take donations at the back door so if you do turn up please knock at the back door

As promised we’ve started reducing our summer stock in preparation for the rebranding and decoration work we have next week which will result in the shop being closed a few days.
Whilst the weather might not currently be playing ball, there are reports of a September heatwave round the corner and for those going on late holidays, men’s and ladies shorts, men’s T-shirts and some ladies dresses all now half price
