We have been a bit quiet here with all the Christmas hustle and bustle, thank you so much for your orders and supporting a little business.

Last weekend we had an amazing day at the first ever Fierce Fair at Porthmeor studios in St.Ives, the loveliest bunch of fellow stall holders and customers.

This weekend we are praying to the weather gods as we’ll be at Christmas market so a last chance to see us in real life before Christmas, there will be lots of lovely things and yummy coffee and cake!

Excited to say Endpaper will be at this lovely fair on the 5th of December alongside some other totally beautiful businesses. We’re bringing a selection of our favourite shop items perfect for gifting and some of our own handmade paper goods.
It will be so nice to meet people in real life again, especially as the chapel street shop closed around this time last year ❤️.

Er…I have a SHOP WEBSITE!
Sorry a bit of a long time coming, a million reasons why it took a while and has actually been sitting here quietly a couple of weeks I just didn’t tell anyone about it!! I find it so hard to let things go and say ok that’s finished! Anyone else struggle with this?! Anyway it’s here with lovely things on it, still much to do and add including the stationery section and the vintage section so it will be evolving slowly but surely. Hello hello👋,
So we have some BIG NEWS here, some of you already know but I’m afraid to say we are CLOSING our Chapel street shop for good. We are still very much in business but we will be moving the shop entirely online for the time being. This is not actually covid related although it has undoubtedly had an impact on our decision. Our lease is up at the end of January, we have had 5 happy years here but alas it feels like time to move on. Now we are a family of 3 we have outgrown the 1 bedroom accommodation above the shop, our bookshop neighbour Newlyn Books wants to retire and the current pandemic situation makes it feel like a good time to regroup.

This lockdown means no proper good byes and no time for a mega sale which feels very strange! We will of course miss seeing our lovely and supportive customers most of all and thank you so so much for all your kindness and custom over these years.
We will also be so sad to leave chapel street, the most beautiful road full of super cool independents at a time when it is really starting to thrive. We’ve had premises on the street for 7 years now and Newlyn Books closer to 20 years so it will be hard to say goodbye!

It’s not a proper goodbye though, we really
hope you will stay with us as we embark on establishing the shop online, we have lots of ideas and it feels exciting to start afresh. We also strongly suspect we may well pop up again somewhere some time when the time and place is right. So watch this space!

Sooo we are closing the shop before I’ve even told anyone we were open😩😂, if you don’t laugh you’ll cry!

Today is our last day before lockdown (not open weds as shopkeeper dad is playing a last round of golf and mental health is important!).

We have a SUPER SALE on, so if you want to grab a few Christmas bargains or treat yourself now is the moment!

We also have a stack of the beautiful new 91 magazines, perfect lockdown interior inspo. If you can’t get in for a copy today we can deliver locally Penzance/Newlyn/Moushole etc for free, just give us a DM, they are £9 each and a really lovely read.

We will also be working on our online shop so we’ll keep you posted on that one. We are determined to try and do our Christmas shopping from all the fantastic independent shops in our area this year, thank goodness click and collect and deliveries can continue. If your local check out for ideas.

Hope everyone’s had a lovely weekend. Finally took a moment to take some photos of a bit of the loveliness going on in the shop at the moment. So many nice Christmas present ideas and nearly all from independent makers and artists. Everyone’s been struck down by lurgies here so will be opening late tomorrow but I have bambino cover from 12 so do pop in! Xx @ Endpaper

The Jubilee pool is such a fantastic asset to our town and these new plans will be brilliant! They are so close to meeting their minimum target but only have until the end of September to get there, be a part of it! Investments start at £20 for a local resident. Palmer and I got on our phones and paid a couple of Sundays ago whilst enjoying a lovely breakfast looking out over the pool and the stormy sea, love the idea of being able to do that all year round! We're making Britain's coolest pool hotter thanks to geothermal heat from under our feet. We need to raise £350,000 to make it happen!

Nice to see another article about some of the many things Penzance has to offer. Endpaper gets a little mention alongside a few other places on Chapel street. Also nice that it was a friend in the Middle East that told me about it so good to know Penzance and our little shop is being publicised far and wide! Sunday Times Travel Penzance BID

Happy weekend, another beautiful day here!
Nice to see an article Conde Nast Traveller did on Penzance last year featured in their newsletter. It has a nice little mention for Endpaper and the bookshop my family own alongside some other really lovely places!
