Azure Glass Studio My fused glass artwork is inspired by the beautiful ocean, beaches and landscapes of Devon & Cornwall.

Each item is handcrafted from glass sheets, frits and powders by me in my studio before being kiln fired to create different textures and finishes.

🌊🏆 A very proud moment for Azure Glass Studio! 🏆🌊

What an incredible feeling to see my fused glass waves being presented as trophies to Bob Whittaker and Ellie McColy, the individual winners of the Surf Life Saving GB Surf Series 2026! 🌊✨

These waves started life in my studio, inspired by my love of the ocean, and I couldn’t be prouder that they now represent achievement at such an amazing event.

I was also absolutely delighted to be invited along to the awards presentation and given the opportunity to tour the Newquay-based Surf Life Saving Club and learn more about the incredible work they do to keep people safe in and around the water. 🌊❤️

It was fantastic to meet some of the people behind this brilliant organisation and to see first-hand the passion, dedication and skill that goes into what they do.

A huge congratulations to Bob and Ellie, and to everyone who took part in the 2026 Surf Series. 🏄‍♀️🏄‍♂️

And for me… what a privilege to have a little piece of Azure Glass Studio become part of the celebration. 💙

🌊✨ A very special day for Azure Glass Studio! ✨🌊

Today I’m at beautiful Fistral Beach for a very exciting reason…

I’ve been invited to an awards presentation where two of my large fused glass wave artworks will be presented as the award! 🏆🌊

It’s such a privilege to know that a piece I’ve designed and created will become a special award, celebrating someone’s achievements — and there really couldn’t be a more perfect setting than here at Fistral, surrounded by the sea and the inspiration behind so much of my work. 💙

Standing here looking out at the waves is a lovely reminder of exactly why I love creating ocean-inspired fused glass. The colours, movement, texture and energy of the sea are a constant source of inspiration.

I can’t wait to see the artwork presented to its new owner and share more with you soon! 🌊💙

🌊 Research with a view! 🌊

Today I’m at beautiful L***y Glaze Beach, soaking up the colours, textures, movement and inspiration of the sea. 💙🌊

Every trip to the coast sparks new ideas, and I can already feel some future Azure Glass Studio projects beginning to take shape! From the rolling waves and foamy sea to the incredible blues and textures of the shoreline, nature really is the best inspiration. ✨

Watch this space… you may just spot a little bit of L***y Glaze in a future piece! 👀💙

✨ I’M GOING TO BE RUNNING FUSED GLASS WORKSHOPS! ✨

So many of you have asked me if I run workshops… and I’m delighted to finally say YES! 🎉

From November, I’ll be running a series of fused glass workshops at Stitch & Splodge where you’ll have the chance to get creative with glass, colour and texture and make your very own piece of fused glass art. 💙🩵

📅 Workshop dates and times will be confirmed soon, and bookings will be opening shortly.

Come along to the Meet the Tutors event at Stitch & Splodge on Saturday 12th September, 10am–12pm. You’ll be able to meet me and all the other fantastic tutors who run a wonderful range of arts and crafts workshops at the venue. 🎨✨
