When an idea becomes reality. Husband thought a macrame curtain would look great there and before we knew it he was fixing the brackets and I was cutting the cord. I didn’t really have a plan in mind so I started it slowly to give me time to the design to come to mind. Not too heavy with patterns so it can be easy to go through but enough to make it pretty. Its not perfect but I love it and I hope you too 💕

Why haven’t I made a sea horse before?! I mean, look how cute he is 😍 deciding the colour was tricky, couldn’t decide between yellow, turquoise or coral.
So might need to do one of each 😄

Today after 5 years, I decided to close my Etsy shop. I am not as sad as I thought I would be. I have been thinking about it for quite some time and as sells have gone down dramatically, this seems like the right step forward.
I will not stop making my string art pieces, I will carry on selling through Handmade Products & Gifts and The Ledbury Collective and the Christmas fairs. And of course I’m still here for all your direct orders or any special commissions you might have in mind. So thank you for keeping my artistic side going, I truly appreciate you forever loyal support 💕💕💕

Does anyone else feels ready for a whole year holiday? 🤣
We are back from our two weeks away in Kefalonia and for the first time ever I didn’t want to come back. I could have happily stayed there enjoying the beach in the morning (before everyone else got there) with my crochet hook in hand listening to the waves. One day maybe 😄

Maybe this crochet cardi should be call “the beach walk” It really was the perfect throw over in the mornings.

I’ve been busy testing again for the forever amazing and her infinite creativity.
This is the “Floret top” 😍😍 a beautiful and delicate top made entirely of flowers.
I made it for my son’s girlfriend but she couldn’t model it for me in time for this post so I had to step in 😄
I now need one as a bikini cover up!! It’s light and airy, perfect to wear in top of a small top with shorts or a vest dress!! 💕💕💕

Lilies are one of my favourite flowers, so much that I’ve got a few tattooed on my back and this piece was first made a few years ago and it was such a pleasure to make a second one 🌺

Nothing to do with handmade pieces today but just to show off that my youngest will be taking part at “we will rock you” musical at this August 🤩 He loves performing and I’m a proud mama every time he is on a stage

Many times I am the one person stopping myself from materialising my own ideas. Ideas like this one, I’ve had it for years and never doing it for no reason at all and once they are done, I love them 🤣🤣🙈
Please tell me I’m not the only one jeopardising myself?!

Friday at last and a dry one as well, hurrah!! And I have another brand new piece, inspired by nature once again. Not sure if it’s my perception or this year there are more poppies around? 🤔 we have so many around us that I felt the need to make my own string art version. I hope you like this one 💕💕
