Worked there as the framer for fifty odd years. But at 78 felt it was time to retire. Worked with lots of different staff and I think always gave good advice and service.. miss the banter with them and made some good friends as customers. Some of us still meet once a month for coffee and breakfast. (catch up on gossip actually).

It’s retro day today here in the window at Greyfriars, Perth.
Plenty of old bottles, cards, tools etc and even candles that have been here for many a year.
There has been an Art shop here for over 70 years…… it’s a wee treasure trove of all things Crafty and Arty!

There’s nothing humble about Humbrol enamel paints. This versatile little paint successfully covers and protects this wonderful little tea pot/robins home that our retired talented framer Ellis created for me and my garden. I deliberately chose vibrant colours and they went on to the porcelain no problem at all leaving a beautiful shining finish.
Thanks Ellis, you’re a true gent and missed so much by both of us here at Greyfriars! 👍
