and Houston we have a problem....

After dropping my phone the other day it has been sent away to be fixed and I'm going to be without a phone for a week. Ye gads! 😱

All things birdie today. So many lovely birds here at the Bield (including real ones!)
Absolutely delighted to see one of my woodpeckers go off to a new home. His wee pal is missing him but happy to keep me company until someone falls in love with him too 🥰

Funnily enough said phone didn't like being dropped from a great height so went in a huff and decided not to work all day today. It is now limping along but refusing to charge. Sooo if you contact me and I don't reply you'll know why!

Meanwhile judgeypants is at my Perthshire Open Studios Exhibition at the Bield and looking for a new home.

Feeling grateful 🥰

Day 9 at Perthshire Open Studios at The Bield.

I was soooo happy to see one of my favourite pieces of art (sssh… don’t tell the others! 🤫) head off to it's new home yesterday.

The lady who bought it said it reminded her of a street in Newburgh and the Newburgh Town House — and as she lives there, she just had to have it! She very kindly sent me a photo of it already hanging in its new home, which was so lovely to see. 😍

Lots of visitors yesterday, lots of chats and appreciation for my work. It genuinely makes my day when people stop to chat about my art, connect with a piece, and even choose to take one home with them.

Still happily working away on some Christmas card ideas here at The Bield in Perth.

I was trying to decide which animal to do next… and then this little dude appeared in the garden last night. Felt like a sign!

(Excuse the state of the grass — I’ve been here EVERY day, so there’s been absolutely no time for gardening 😆)

So, I’ve decided to create a wee series of Scottish wildlife Christmas cards this year. Some ideas:

Back to the Bield at Blackruthven today.

Got my coffee, just in need of some cake...
So, if you’re passing by, why not pop in and visit this fabulous exhibition? There’s so much beautiful artwork on display from many of the talented artists taking part in this year’s Perthshire Open Studios.
