A conservation group is celebrating the impact of its volunteers with a reward scheme that also gives back to the community.
Chiltern Rangers CIC based in High Wycombe, delivers more than 60 environmental projects across 120 sites in the Chiltern National Landscape.
The organisation now thanks its volunteers with Shop Wycombe Gift Card which can be spent at more than 60 businesses in the town including those in Eden, High Wycombe
Diana Crawcour, business manager at Chiltern Rangers, said: "Many of our volunteers are involved in local projects. They care deeply about our area, so the Shop Wycombe Gift Card that helps our town to thrive is an ideal thank you for them."
Previously, the group used Amazon Gift Cards.
Volunteers contributed more than 22,000 hours to managing nature reserves, woodlands, chalk streams, chalk grasslands and urban green spaces in 2025-26.
Volunteer Sarah Ronan said: "It felt fantastic to be recognised as a volunteer of the season and I was delighted to receive the Shop Wycombe Gift Card which I spent on coffee and cake in the town. The Shop Wycombe Gift Card is a very good initiative that gives real support to our high street."
The scheme is led by HWBIDCo and is part of the Town & City Gift Cards concept from Miconex.
