Fleadh Cheoil na Breataine 2018
Hi to everyone, I'm sure by now you will have realised I spent the weekend at Stirling University where the Fleadh Cheoil na Breataine was hosted by the Irish Minstrels. I was enthused by the depth of talent and the dedication shown by the musicians and their families. Some old hands sat down and enjoyed themselves along with the younger generation, the weather was excellent and everyone I spoke to was delighted with the venue. A big thanks to Euan Cattanach of Chattan Luthiery for allowing the use of his excellent instruments in the making of these video clips. I would welcome any suggestions for other meetings/competitions involving Banjo's which I could attend.
All these young players should be extremely proud for having reached this level of competition, and their mums and dads too for the way they behaved and presented themselves.
