Our stock of resin has arrived and unfortunately it has sold out within a day.

Next stock is not due until end of October and there will be a further increase of around £10 a bag.

I normally like to give customers what is happening out there but this time what I am seeing and hearing is too depressing.

When people talk about cost of living no one really tells you what the root cause is. This world is on the brink.

And if I didn’t spend time on planning for these situations we would be in a lot worse situation. There is a lot goes on to support this industry but unfortunately it is now becoming a nightmare.

Think I’ll have a cold one tonight 🍻 .

It’s been some time since I gave an update on the resin situation. Unfortunately things are not improving but getting worse.

We have stock coming in around 6th August and prices have increased due to raw material prices rising by 200% due to a global shortage of the product. This is the small beads called polystyrene which is an oil based product.

We currently have opened pre-orders as we have a backlog of orders to fulfil. I expect stock to be sold out within a couple of weeks.

The bad news next stock will be around late September and prices will go up again due to shipping costs.

I would recommend customers keep at least 4 months safety stock.

Our 4040 system on a stand with booster pump and DI Saver Controller, auto flush, auto stop and fill, built for a customer. Capable of doing 8000/9000 litres a day.

Will be installing this later on this week with further systems being built.

I was going to give an update our stocks of Tulsion MB-115 is stable but unfortunately that is no longer the case.

We will be probably run out of stock next week and no more stock until end of July.

This is the scenario that is happening our orders have been delayed not by weeks but by months.

The stock due in end of July this should have been with us in April.

Even with other products we sell that normally have a lead time of a week are now taking a month.

So as a business I would strongly advise in these turbulent times try and keep a months rolling stock.
