After over 5 years of doing my little bubble tea heaven, I’m STILL excited every time I get to see you lovely people!

Apart from remembering who you are and, of course remembering your usual orders, I still somehow manage to pick a drink that suits your mood that day… or surprise you with something you didn’t even know you wanted 😂

I genuinely love that, after all these years, I still get excited when I see familiar faces coming over.

Anyway… we’re here until this Saturday, 15th August, before we take a little break and go enjoy ourselves!

So come and see us before we disappear for a little while.

What a wonderful day at the Doddington Village Sports & Carnival.

We had such an amazing time meeting so many lovely people and serving our bubble tea throughout the day. The atmosphere was fantastic, it felt like a little summer festival filled with smiles, laughter, and a real sense of community.

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to support us and to the fantastic organizers for putting together such a brilliant event.

We truly enjoyed ourselves and are so grateful to have been part of it.

As we are a small independent business, our Orton Centre store will be closed on any days we’re trading at events.

I’ve been doing what I love the bubble tea here at Orton Centre for about 5 years now. There are many of a beautiful memories and what I’m gonna share with you is one of them.

When I hear a running steps coming towards me I’m sure they are my customers, They can’t just walk but run. I’m always glad to see those excited eyes asking me politely for a bubble tea.

There are a siblings of a 2 sisters who usually visit my store mostly every week and yes I can remember everyone’s orders and even recognize their names.

One day, I saw just a younger sister so I asked if her sister is okay. The girl replied that her sister was not well. She got treated at the hospital due to cancer. I was speechless and upset to know that.

A months later, I get to see the pretty and smiley girl again but this time she was struggle to walk and looked very poorly. She told me she just wanted to come here after discharged from the hospital. This time she asked for just a little bit of toppings…

When I saw her mum left an empty cardboard sick tray from the hospital on the counter looking for her purse in a bag. It got me emotional as it reminded me of when I looked after my late husband he had c.. as well and he was the one who made my bubble tea adventure happened. I was in tears and said to the mother it’s free of charge.

I’ve seen them now and again and I’m so glad to know that she had improved a lot and that c has gone. Until I met her family recently, I asked the girl if her sister is alright? They sadly told me that she passed on Christmas Eve as the c came back. I was shocked and very upset.

You were my precious memory that will last forever and you know I’m so glad I was once making you happy with a big smile when I handed you a pinky milk with tapioca.
