I am pleased as punch that we now stock Sensory Processing Disorder book. A beautifully written and illustrated picture book explaining sensory differences for children 🥰

For our older fiddlers and problem solvers, Brainstring Advanced a 3d string puzzle, with multiple ways to play keeping hands and minds busy.

It takes some practice but its so worth it to have a safe and calm environment to play, relax and explore. Add in other sensory toys, cuddly friends or just cushions for a chilled hiding spot.

A popular resource recently and not surprisingly when the holidays can be overwhelming. Great news for parents too, as an adult can comfortably hide in the tent too 😉

Kinda chic when you find a sensory toy business that is owned by a neurodivergent family who get it. First hand experience. Personally tested. Safety advice from a parent who knows what its like to be on alert all of the time.

It would be kinda chic if you could share with your friends, family, or school my little business. It’s no surprise during this cost of living crisis that small businesses like mine are struggling. I wont lie this year has been my hardest.

Interacting with my content and sharing doesnt cost a thing, but would mean a hell of a lot right now 🫶 Thank you for your support 🥰

Today we Butlins. Alice is absolutely buzzing and asking me for lunch at 8am because she knows we go after lunch 😂

We do love it but its tough. She’s bigger and stronger and more adventurous. I am worried the things she loves she may be too big for now, or that even though she’s tall enough, her ability isnt there yet to do it. A tricky balance. Especially when in no time she will be bigger and stronger than me.

We are going to attempt a show. She can do the pavilion and loves the mini disco but in the past struggled with the others due to forced perspective. No pressure, if she doesnt like it, we’ll leave. Will also give us an idea if the cinema is one to try in the future.

Ear defenders are packed. Something she’s never really got along with before but since her wax removal she’s become very sensitive to sound, even though she has mild hearing loss.

Dont get me wrong I am really looking forward to our trip but trips, even if familiar, with an autistic child do require a lot of planning, risk assessment and adjustments to keep everyone happy and safe.

SAA Clothing and the Independence Project & Clubs putting on a huge 2 day event specifically for send families. And what an event it was! So many happy faces 🥰👏👏
I have to bring Alice as she would just live her best life. It’s everything she loves!

Getting to finally meet my insta family, and thats what it feels like. Like old friends meeting up, easy to talk to, slipping into our groove, like we’ve known each other for years. Honestly, like home from home. I cant thank you all enough for just being awesome. I wish Id taken more photos!

I am gutted I missed so many of you today but Alice finishes school this week and I need to make sure Im home to help her through that transition. Hopefully I can come again and meet you all 🥰
