Our officers are on scene at Holme Fen Nature Reserve to assist the Fire Service with a large blaze. Please be aware there are several road closures in the area of Holme Fen nature reserve due to the ongoing fire. Road closures are as follows:

The junction of Hod Fen Drove and Holme Lode
All of Holme Lode
The junction of Long Drove/B660 and New Long Drove

Please avoid all routes in the area when possible, and please do not enter the area of the Nature Reserve at any time, for your own safety. Thank you.

A dangerous driver who led officers on two high-speed pursuits in the Peterborough area has been jailed.

During the incidents Adam Abdellouche, 19, drove at 120mph, nearly double the speed limits in built up areas and on the first occasion crashed into a wall.

Our neighbourhood officers recently popped by to say hello to the new community Speedwatch group that were undergoing training along Fulbridge Road in Paston. 👋

During our time there, several drivers were spoken to about their speed and provided with words of advice. 🚗

Tackling speeding and anti-social driving is a priority for the team, and working with these groups is one way that we are able to address the issue.

Two members of a burglary gang have been jailed for stealing jewellery worth thousands of pounds from properties in Peterborough.

Marian Cercel, 53, and Ionut Craciun, 36, were part of a gang linked to 27 burglaries in Cambridgeshire and Buckinghamshire where jewellery worth more than £130,000 was stolen.
