The PIN LADIES are back

Saturday 11th April, 10 am til 2pm.
The Bowls club at Manor Leisure.

Feel free to pop in and say hello, or join in.
Just bring your current project and enjoy our chat on .. grandkids/politics/weight loss(or gain in my case). In fact, we chat about anything and everything. We even chat about sewing sometimes too 😂.

£3 per session and we meet every 4 weeks (or thereabouts)

After having a few months break .....

LEARN TO SEW course

6 weeks starting Tuesday 3rd March. 6.30 to 8.30 pm

Held at Creative Crafters, 35 Great Whyte Ramsey

Learn how to use your sewing machine, make several items to use on your sewing journey. Tips, advice free!!

Places are limited so don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested. Or you can pop in the shop to book.

The cost is £60 (that works out at £5 and hour). An investment for your sewing journey.

The Pin Ladies meet monthly at the Manor Bowls Club, at Manor Leisure.
9.30 til 2pm approximately

New sewists are always welcome whether you are a novice or advanced - I am always happy to help with your projects and frequently give out tips (whether you want them or not 😂)

DATES FOR 2026 (all Saturdays)

March 7th
April 11th
May 9th
June 6th
July 11th
August 8th
September 5th
October 3rd
October 31st (yes, that's 2 this month)
November 28th

No meeting in December

We all bring our own projects, natter and sew/knit/crochet. Bring your own lunch but nibbles are included along with coffee/tea as often as you want.

Monthly cost is £3 each. A lovely room, plenty of space. Contact me if you're interested but a bit shy coming for the first time.

Hello everyone.

Well it's been one heck of a weird year. Firstly having to close the shop, which nearly broke my heart if I'm honest, then the usual family stuff. Along with a spot of ill health (marvellous 😟)

But there are many "highs" too. My youngest daughter passed her CBT and tazzes about on her 125 like a pro. Youngest son passed his A2(?) test and now tazzes about on a bigger bike. And yes, I'm still the taxi when the weather's really bad.

I've already done a couple of de-stash sales and have another one planned for January

I've re-organised my sewing room at least twice so far, and I may well need to do it again soon (possibly a case of too much fabric??? Never 😂)

The Saturday Sewcial- ladies are still meeting regularly and we are now called The Pin Ladies.

Many blessings to be counted. Not least the comments and messages I still receive saying how much they miss the shop(me too).

So after the ramblings I would just like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported the shop in the past, the Pin Ladies for their constant giggles/moans/support over the past few months and to all the followers for being so patient, as I am terrible with updates.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone and here's to a HAPPY NEW YEAR ♥️
