Ortongate Shopping Centre was originally built in the late 1970’s to serve as a community shopping centre. It is a mixture of retail and residential in the heart of the Ortons, a densely populated area of Peterborough. In 2008 a major re-development took place to increase the amount of retail space and the refurbishment of Misterton F

lats, now renamed Orton Plaza. Further significant development came when Reef Estates purchased the centre in September 2015 which has included various physical improvements, new build retail units and an increase in shop variety. This is an ongoing programme of improvements implemented by the current owners. Located just off the A1139, Ortongate Shopping Centre is just 5 minutes from the A1 and a 12 minute drive from central Peterborough. Once here there is ample free parking with over 590 spaces. A bus service from Peterborough Bus Station runs every 10 minutes, providing quick and easy links to and from the city centre and surrounding areas.
