Presenting Laird Archibald - played by David Wilson. The impeccably polished new Laird of Peterheid — a delightfully posh idiot. He glides through life with perfect diction, questionable decisions, and a touch of shifty grandeur.
Q: What was your first Peterhead Panto and what role did you have?
A: Aladdin 2018 - helping backstage and painting set.
Q: What made you want to join our panto family?
A: My daughters were in chorus and the whole experience looked good fun so I got stuck in!
Q: How many years have you been involved in panto/peterhead Panto?
A: 6 (or 7 if you include PantoFest)
Q: What’s your favourite panto?
A: Cinderella - a classic story, my first proper on stage role and some great effects.
Q: What’s your favourite thing about panto?
A: Everyone can find some way to get involved, creating a brilliant experience for the town and making some good friends in the process. The sense of excitement and achievement shared during show week is fantastic!
Q: If you had a goose that laid golden eggs, what would you buy first?
A: Round the world tickets - ready for adventure!
Q: Do you have any pre-show rituals or good-luck routines?
A: Usually checking any tech I've been involved in - not this year though, so I'll need to find something else to worry about!
Q: Tell us an interesting fact about yourself.
A: I once cooked a whole pig overnight on a makeshift BBQ pit - it was delicious and only went on fire a little bit.

A: As King Rat, getting a huge boo from the audience - just from an evil chuckle.
