🧵 Test stitch approved… I think! 👻🧡

There’s something so satisfying about watching an idea go from a design on a screen to actual stitches.

These are today’s test stitches for my new Spooky Season collection. 🧡

Before I commit to stitching the sweatshirts, I always test:
🪡 Thread colours
🪡 Stitch density
🪡 Placement
🪡 Any tiny tweaks that need made

It’s the least glamorous part of embroidery… but probably the most important.

So… which one’s your favourite?

👻 Too early for spooky season…?

I don’t think so! 🎃🍂

The embroidery machines have officially switched into autumn mode, and I couldn’t resist creating my first spooky collection of the year.

There’s just something about cosy sweatshirts, crisp mornings, pumpkins, candles and a little bit of Halloween that makes this my favourite season. 🧡

So… settle the debate for me…

🫣 Trust the process… she said confidently.

Today was a first for me…

My very first embroidered cap went under the needle! 🧢✨

I measured it, lined it up, checked everything… then checked it all again.

And when it came to pressing Start…

…I’m pretty sure I held my breath. 😅😂

Sometimes the only thing you can do is trust the process, trust what you’ve learned… and hope for the best. 🤞

Now all that’s left to do is watch every single stitch and try not to panic! 👀

💀 Well… this one’s definitely going to split opinion!

Not every design has to be everyone’s cup of tea… and that’s one of the things I love most about creating.

Some people will absolutely love the bold colours and alternative style.

Others will scroll past thinking, “That’s not for me.”

And honestly? That’s perfectly okay.

Every stitch on this sweatshirt was embroidered one thread at a time, and watching it come to life was so satisfying.

I’d much rather create something that starts a conversation than something everyone forgets five seconds later.

So… where do you stand?

💀 Not every logo belongs on a screen… some deserve stitches. 🧵

Deadly’s Crafts has had this awesome logo for a while, but seeing it brought to life in embroidery gives it a whole new personality.

Thousands of stitches, plenty of thread changes, and one very happy embroidery machine later… I’d say it was worth it! ❤️🖤
