💛 PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP ON US 💛

We’re so very sorry, but unfortunately the shop will be closed tomorrow (Friday 2nd October).

We know we’ve had a lot of unexpected closures recently, and we completely understand how frustrating it is when you’re never quite sure whether we’ll be open. We’re genuinely sorry for the disappointment this has caused.

Please bear with us. We are really trying our very best to keep the shop open and serve our wonderful Peterhead community. 🫶

We will be open on Saturday from 9am- 3pm. Lots of new produce has gone out at the end of the day. We hope we can help you find a bargain!

Do you have a spare hour or two a week? Have you recently retired? Kids gone back to school and you want to get out and meet new people? Are you working towards an award that requires volunteer hours? Volunteering is a great way to give back. ✨ SO… WHAT EXACTLY IS AN OUTLET? 👀

You might have noticed that the British Red Cross Peterhead shop is a little bit different…

Back in May, we became part of an Outlet pilot, which means something really exciting for our customers! 🥳 Clothing and accessories that haven’t found their new home in other shops across our region including; Aberdeen, Westhill, Turriff, Huntly, Ellon and Inverurie, can make their way to Peterhead.

That means our rails are constantly getting a fantastic mix of clothing and accessories from across the region. 🛍️✨

🌱 But why an Outlet?

It’s all about giving donations more life. Instead of a beautiful item sitting unsold in one shop, it gets another chance to be discovered by someone who absolutely loves it in another. It’s a great way of making the most of every donation and keeping great quality items in circulation for longer. 💚 And here’s the really exciting bit…

👖Some of our items have never even been on a shop floor before.

🏷️ Some still have their original tags!

🧣 We have a brilliant selection of accessories, including scarves, hats and more.

🎁 And with that time of year approaching (we’re not saying the C-word just yet… 😉), why not pop in and see if you can find something a little different for someone special?

❤️ BUT WE STILL NEED OUR COMMUNITY!

Being an Outlet doesn’t mean we don’t need you. Our Outlet stock mainly covers clothing and certain accessories, so we still rely on our wonderful Peterhead community to help us fill the shelves in the shop with the things you love to find!
