🎀 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women in the UK, but finding it early can make a real difference.
💗 Know your normal. Get to know how your breasts usually look and feel, and speak to your GP if you notice any changes that are unusual for you.
Look out for changes such as:
* A lump or swelling in your breast or armpit
* Changes in the size or shape of your breast
* Changes to the skin or ni**le
* Ni**le discharge
* Any persistent pain or discomfort
Most breast changes are not cancer, but it’s always worth getting anything unusual checked.
🎀 And if you’re invited for breast screening, make sure you attend.
💗 Check. Notice. Speak up.
There are various ways to show your support throughout October's 'Wear it Pink' Breast Cancer Awareness campaign.
