The Petersfield Bookshop specialises in buying and selling Antiquarian and second-hand books, as well as antique maps and prints. A feature of the shop is our open forecourt where books can be bought (or exchanged!) 24/7, using an honesty box. We also sell new books and can order (often for next day collection) any title not in stock. We can also arrange for picture and print restoration, bookbinding services and picture framing.

The perfect Saturday morning surely. Come and join a small group learning how to care for your books. Learn how to repair, clean and wrap dust jackets, how to care for and polish leather books, how to repair torn pages and what to use (and not to use) when it comes to looking after and making repairs to books both ancient and modern. Expect a quiet, friendly atmosphere, with tea, coffee and biscuits on tap. Maximum of ten places.
