Firstly, a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who bought one of my T-shirts, tops or bags at Jan’s Bellyspa 💜

I really wasn’t expecting quite the response they got! And I have to admit, I absolutely LOVE spotting people out in the wild wearing one of my designs, It gives me such a buzz!

So naturally… I’ve gone and placed a rather LARGE order for more blank T-shirts and vest tops

I’ve also found an online supplier for my blanks now (why did I not do this sooner?! 🤦‍♀️), which means I should be able to get hold of different sizes much more easily.

So for everyone who asked me at Bellyspa about **bigger sizes — they’re coming!** 🙌💜

Quite where I’m going to put all this when it arrives is another matter… the office/sound room is already bursting at the seams 😂 That’s a problem for future Donna!

Also… seeing as I love spotting my creations out in the wild so much, I’m thinking there may be a little competition coming 👀

Maybe something along the lines of **spot yourself in your Ovenden Creations gear, post a pic and tag me**…

I have ideas… 😏

What a wonderful way to end Jan’s Bellyspa weekend

After a whole weekend of dancing, learning, laughing, performing, catching up and being surrounded by such a special community, I had the privilege of closing it all with a sound bath for a room full of dancers.

There was something really lovely about that shift from movement into stillness — giving tired bodies a chance to soften, rest and simply receive.

I’m so grateful to everyone who joined me and trusted me to hold that space, and to Jan for inviting me to bring this part of myself to Bellyspa.

Our bodies do so much for us. They dance, carry us, adapt, recover, ache, laugh, wobble, perform and keep going — and sometimes they deserve nothing more than permission to stop.

Dance brought us together.
Sound gave us somewhere to rest.

A beautiful ending to a very special weekend. 💜

Heading to Torquay this weekend to combine belly dancing and ending with running a Soundbath! Really looking forward to merging my two worlds! Now if only I could teleport all my kit there instead of working out how to fit it all in the car, and wondering if deciding to take my beautiful big gong is gonna make packing fun!

Last night I experienced my first Solstice Gong Puja — an all-night journey of sound, stillness, rest and reflection.

Surrounded by beautiful gongs, singing bowls, chimes and a wonderful community, I spent the night immersed in vibration and sound as we welcomed the Summer Solstice.

I’m feeling grateful, inspired and reminded of the incredible power of sound to help us slow down, connect and simply be.

What a beautiful way to honour the longest day of the year. ✨🎶🌞
