🐭🚜 A little reminder to check on your machinery before you need it! 🚜🐭

This engine came into our workshop with a rather unexpected surprise... a mouse nest built inside! 🐁

When machinery is left standing for long periods without being checked, mice can make themselves at home, causing blocked cooling fins, damaged wiring, and expensive repairs.

To help keep your machine in top condition:
✅ Store it somewhere clean and dry.
✅ Check it regularly, even when it's not in use.
✅ Remove leaves, grass, and debris.
✅ Book it in for a service before the season starts.

A little maintenance goes a long way and could save you a costly repair bill!

Due to a long standing customer sadly passing away we are closing the business between 11am and 2pm on Friday 10th July, so our team can attend the funeral and say our last goodbyes.

We hope you can understand, and sorry for any inconvienence caused. We will be back open from 2pm as normal. Thank you for your continued support.

A brilliant tribute to a brand that has been trusted by professionals and enthusiasts alike for a century. It's great to celebrate such an incredible milestone with a unique, handmade display.

Simmonds Saws had the best time at West's Wood Fair. Celebrating their 10th year!

Thank you so much for having us...we can't wait to do it all again next year!

Even with the temperature being high, it was an amazing turn out. We saw lots of people, the show for us isn't about selling things there and then. It's about marketing and networking for potential customers going forward.

If you saw us at the wood fair, it was lovely talking to you and we hope to see you again soon. Hopefully you had a great time...because we sure did!

Women’s chainsaw race is ready to go !

We have a prize worth over £300 from STIHL

This is the first year we will be running a women’s only event so don’t miss out !

The event is open to women over the age of 16 years, the maximum number of goes is 3 and the event is FREE TO ENTER. COMPETITORS HAVE TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER BEFORE STARTING THE EVENT.

In order to enter the Chainsaw Race, you must be fully trained or be able to display adequate experience and competence using a chainsaw. A fully trained chainsaw user will be supervising the competition, and will stop the participation of any competitors if she does not have confidence in.

This is a TIMED EVENT which starts (with saws running) when the line marker becomes visible and finishes when the saw has completed the last cut. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL.
