Due to ongoing health issues we may have to adjust our operations a little over the next wee while.

Please note that that we will be open SHOP ONLY this coming weekend. We have also had to pause offering lunches for the time being. Apologies for any disappointment and thanks for your ongoing support.

A couple of weeks ago I handed some new paintings in at The Studio :: Plockton. Here's a close-up of one featuring Morvich from the causeway. I wanted to capture that effect you see often in the Highlands where one hill can be basking in golden light while the hill right next to it looms dark in misty shadow.

They've recently completed some renovation work at The Studio, and it's now fully open and includes a fantastic cafe - a great place to dodge the showers if you're out for a wander.

Small adjustment to our opening hours! Please note, cafe still closes at 4pm daily, however the shop will now be open until 5pm. Slightly later opening on a Sunday. Applicable from tomorrow. Thanks! ☕️ 🖼️ 🎁

Thanks to all for such a busy weekend! We’re closed Sunday and Monday to roll some eggs, then we move to our new opening hours!

Don’t be fooled by our poorly timed scaffolding!

This is our last weekend open for a wee while as we take a winter break. We’re open this Friday and Saturday, 11am to 4pm. Hope to see you there. ☕️

We’re open again this Friday & Saturday, 11am to 4pm, but due to a very special birthday in the village, the cafe will be closed for a private function from 12.30pm on Friday. Takeaway coffee & cake still available, and shop open as normal. ☕️
