Just like last year, one of our wonderful artists Community in print has designed a gorgeous bullet journal to help you stay organised through 2027! 🐝

The £16 journals can now be pre-ordered through our website q***routloud.com/products/bullet-journal-community-in-print (🔗 in our bio!)

The journal includes: goal setting pages, a monthly calendar spread, a comfortable 4 days per page design and even a mood tracker to keep you feeling grounded all year 🌼

Collection from our shop at the Plot or at Sappho's at a later date - we will also be buying some extra wholesale to sell at upcoming markets and in our shop, but pre-orders really help us all to better estimate the numbers, so don't hesitate to get yours (or drop us a comment/DM if you wanna get one in the near future!!!)

We've had a good few weeks of fundraising and wanted to give you guys another shout out for helping us support Sappho's!

Thanks to you donating ticket money, sharing event posts, performing with us, and generally being the best community, we have been able to pay a whooping £804 to this fantastic venue.

We are incredibly proud to work with the Sappho's team, and greatly appreciate all your support in making that possible.

We can't thank you enough for making it possible to keep such an important community venue alive!

number 3 to our most iconic social yet… Slide Show Presentation Evening! 🧑‍🏫 Thanks again to all of our presenters for delivering absolutely delightful 5-15 (and some even 20+…) minute talks on their subjects - from vegan recipes, statue reviews and funky animals to a Trojan Horse turned educational piece on African q***r history! Let us know what your favourite presentation was in the comments 👀

Plus, thanks to your generosity we were able to raise £280 for 💜

We will definitely be throwing another one next year so keep your eyes peeled…

Despite this being by far one of the teams favourite events, its seems the only photos we took were these (the most important things in life are bathrooms and Sonic, obviously)

Earlier this month, we hosted a disability focused performance night where all money went to important local causes.

Thanks to you, we have raised a whooping £138 which went to two disability fundraisers, and to Sappho's. Both these fundraisers are still open. If you have a spare bit of cash lying around, you can donate to these here:

Crochet social is BACK BABY!!!

This month, our amazing team of crochet experts will be helping you create a range of autumnal designs - all totally beginner friendly!
Come along, meet new people, chat about how you have no clue how crochet works (me irl), or how much you love the craft!

We will have printed patterns for you to work from, and the team will be able to help you every step of the way - from casting on, to making your finished piece.

This session was an absolute blast in February when we made little pancake day themed creations, and we can't wait to see what everyone creates this month.

Thanks to National Lottery Funding, we have been able to host a social every month since January! We thought it's finally time to share some photos and show off what we (and many of you!) have been up to 💅

Soooo, over the next few weeks, we are going old school Instagram and bringing back , starting with Augusts blackberry pick and processing assembly in collaboration with 🧺

We had a lovely time walking through Lower Central Park and picking blackberries, but boy was it hot ☀️🥵

We picked over 2kg of berries, which were later turned into Smoky Blackberry BBQ Sauce at the Assembly in c103 🍲

Announcing the final socials of 2026! Join us at Sappho's Cafe & Community Space to craft, drink matcha and meet new folks

- 🧶 Sept 26th we're inviting back our crochet experts to host an autumnal crochet session - if you'd like to volunteer, get in touch!
- 🕸️ Oct 24th we are hosting a spoooOOooooky quiz
- ✍️ Nov 28th join us as we will be aggressively sipping on our coffees and tackling submitting our dreaded Self Assessment tax returns in an early timely manner (though remember you must tell HMRC by 5 October if you need to complete a tax return for tax year 2025-2026). We also invite those who have been procrastinating their deedpoll name changes to do it all together!
- ✨ Dec 19th come and create visionboard posters and zines with us of what we all want from our 2027

For September, we are finally mixing things up with a theme for our performance night!

At Q***r Out Loud, our team is well aware of how expensive it is to be disabled. With an increasingly worsening financial landscape for disabled people, we want to support you with your fundraising efforts.

This month, all donations will be split between disability related fundraisers, and Sappho's. If you, or someone you know is in need of some support with funding, please fill in the form in our bio to ensure the fundraiser is part of our donations split. We can only split donations with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, but are happy to share fundraisers on our socials if the person benefitting from the funding does not identify somewhere in the LGBTQIA+ umbrella.

As per usual, the link for tickets is in our bio. There is a free option, and you are welcome to donate on the night. If you haven't got the money to pay for tickets, that is totally fine - there is never and pressure to do so.

If you identify as disabled (we would class neurodivergence as disability) then sign up link is also in our bio. We are doing surprisingly well on applications this month so sets may be shorter than normal. Please ensure that you have at least one part of your set that centres around disability. It does not have to be your whole set, though.
