Another original floor brought back to life! ✨

These amazing original softwood parquet floors were in need of a little TLC, so we got to work sanding them back and finished them with an ExtraMatt lacquer for a beautifully natural look.

Our fantastic clients wanted to keep the character of the original timber while lightening and brightening the rooms, as the floor had previously been a much darker colour.

The result is a fresh, natural finish that really allows the original parquet and its character to shine through. 🤍

A privilege to once again be entrusted by one of our valued returning clients.

For this project, we supplied and expertly installed prime-grade solid oak parquet flooring, creating a timeless centrepiece for the lounge.

Every detail was completed to the highest standard, with the floor meticulously sanded before being finished with a premium extra matt lacquer. This flawless finish enhances the natural character of the oak while offering exceptional durability and a beautifully understated elegance.

Craftsmanship, precision, and uncompromising quality—creating bespoke hardwood floors designed to stand the test of time.

If you’re considering a truly exceptional flooring installation, we’d be delighted to discuss your project.

We had the pleasure of restoring these beautiful original floorboards in an 1835 home. ✨

One room was finished in a natural tone to showcase the timeless beauty and character of the wood, while the other was whitewashed to create a fresh, contemporary feel.

Two different finishes, each perfectly suited to the space, while preserving the charm of these stunning original boards.

Reclaimed Oak Parquet install …..

Progress update on our reclaimed oak parquet installation 👇

Subfloor prep is now complete, including levelling and liquid DPM, setting the perfect foundation for what’s to come. Two rooms have been laid, doors have been carefully trimmed, and we’re now moving into the sanding stage.

The client’s vision is clear: a beautifully aged finish with real character — embracing patina, an authentic worn look, and steering away from anything too uniform or “perfect.”

Next step: building up the finish layer by layer to bring that timeless feel to life. Stay tuned.
