Agora Models Announces Relaunch of their YouTube Channel 🎬

Their new channel, Agora Models Plus, brings a brand-new entertainment line-up to the global scale modelling community.

Launching tonight, The 1:1 Show is a weekly 30-minute chat show hosted by Wayne Green, featuring special guests, hobby news, hot-topic discussions, and viewer feedback.

Also hitting the road is the Agora Models Plus Roadshow — a documentary-style series filmed at scale modelling events around the world.

From movie-prop makers and expert modellers to movie-franchise superfans, Agora Models Plus will celebrate the people, stories, and passion behind models of every shape and size.

Season 1, Episode 1 launches tonight — Wednesday 27 May 2026.

Last week, I had the honour of getting up close and personal with the 1:8 Jurassic Park Ford Explorer from Agora Models, and honestly, I couldn’t take my eyes off it.

It's already up there as one of my favourite, and most anticipated partwork builds from all the years I’ve been doing this. That may partly be because I’m such a huge Jurassic Park fan, but it's also because the level of detail packed into this model is genuinely astonishing. And this is only the prototype!

Plenty of improvements have already been made since this version, as I’ve covered in my previous posts, but if you’re still sitting on the 10,000-volt perimeter fence, so to speak, don’t be. You’ll be just as shocked as I was by how incredible this model really is.

Last week, I was honoured to be invited to Agora Models in Canterbury — a place that genuinely feels like a model maker’s paradise.

Being welcomed behind the scenes was an absolute treat, and I also had the pleasure of being interviewed by Wayne Green in Agora’s brand-new studio for their brand-new Agora Models+ YouTube series. For me, this was a real golden ticket moment.

From the incredible team and the passion that goes into every project, to the stunning models and exciting work happening throughout the workshop, it really did feel like stepping into somewhere magical.

This video is just a little teaser ahead of Agora’s official video, so keep an eye out for that one soon.

A huge thank you to everyone at Agora Models for the warm welcome, the tour, and for making it such an unforgettable day.

Agora Models have gone above and beyond — spared no expense!

We’re all in agreement that it was already a beautiful model, but they’ve done the right thing, listened to the community, and taken on board the feedback shared about the prototype to make it even better.

I’m pleased to report that the final production model now includes the following updates.

According to Agora, production is now well under way, with Pack 1 due to ship in September/October 2026 — and I, for one, can’t wait to get started!
