We are an established independent Carpet shop in Plympton and we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team. Must be fully punctual, with good communication and customer services skills. Willing to learn about the wide variety of products available, have strong numeric skills. Being a local family run business, the role and tasks can be varied so we require a flexible, willing and highly motivated individual to fit in with our small friendly team. In return you will work in a nice friendly environment!
The ideal applicant would have experience in a similar sales role in a retail environment and whilst a background in carpets is an advantage, this is not an essential requirement for the right person. On the job training would be given.
The job is a retail and warehouse based role which will mean working Saturdays and working days could vary depending on staff holidays. The job includes some heavy lifting, moving and replenishing roll stock and remnants, serving customers, cutting of flooring materials, receiving deliveries, using online ordering systems and maintaining cleanliness of showroom & warehouse.

-Working hours- 5 Days a week including every other Saturday & bank holidays.
-Weekly pay
-28 days holiday paid including bank holidays
- 3 month probation period
-Must be over the age of 18 due to the physical nature of part of the role
