Who says pendant lights are just for ceilings and kitchen islands? đź’ˇ

Sometimes, the most beautiful lighting choices are the unexpected ones.

Swapping a traditional table lamp or wall light for a low-hanging pendant can create a cosy reading nook, free up valuable surface space and bring a little extra character to an otherwise overlooked corner.

But does it work everywhere? Not quite!

Pendant lighting works particularly well beside sofas, over bedside tables and in quiet corners where you want to create a softer, more intimate atmosphere.

The trick is getting the height and positioning just right.
