CALLING ALL MAKERS, PRODUCERS & SMALL BUSINESSES.

This Christmas, we’re bringing a festive market to Mothecombe Stables on Sunday 29th November — and we’re looking for a brilliant mix of independent businesses to join us.

We want to fill the Stables with good things: local makers, growers, artists, food producers, designers, craftspeople and small independent brands.

If you make, grow, bake, create or produce something you think would be a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.

Honouring our love for a frilly edge

Morning all! Tomorrow is our last opening of the season at Mothecombe Gardens & Bee Verdant.

And our message for the end of the season is simple: Autumn is the new spring.

For hardy perennials, autumn is a brilliant time to plant. The soil is still warm, rainfall is increasing and plants can concentrate on establishing stronger root systems before spring growth kicks in, giving them a head start for next summer.

We’re encouraging gardeners to rethink the traditional spring planting rush and make much more of autumn.

So if you’re planning ahead, filling gaps or looking to make your garden more resilient next summer, come and see us tomorrow for our final Tuesday.
We do also offer click and collect and Martin is always happy to offer garden design advice!
