Early May Bank Holiday...

We are now closed for (a slightly longer) Early May Bank Holiday weekend.

Don't forget that today (12th December) is the last recommended posting date for 2nd class post. There's not long left on 1st class either - Friday 16th December is the last recommended posting date for 1st class post.

If there's something you need urgently, our courier, DX, is doing much better than Royal Mail, so we would recommend this option.

Happy Customers

It's not common that packages arrived damaged, but when they do, we always aim to sort the issue promptly. And that includes our international customers, like this one from Denmark....

"I received 3 Repair Sealant from TubRepairs. it was very well packaged, but the postal service much have handled the package extremely rough. I send a picture of the package with sealant all over and one bottle broken. Their response was quick with an apology and an offer for a new to be send out or refund right away. I know things can happen in shipping, but this was probably one of the quickest responses and a very correct response. Thank you very much, I'll definitely buy more from TubRepairs."

Closed Thursday 29th & Friday 30th September....

We're closed this Thursday and Friday, so if there's something you need for the weekend, don't leave it to late to order!

Orders placed before 3.30pm Wednesday (and no doubt a few after this time too!) will be dispatched Wednesday. Remaining orders will be dispatched and any enquires replied to when we return on Monday 3rd October.

Royal Mail Strikes...

As you may be aware, Royal Mail workers will be holding a series of strikes starting on Friday 26th August.

Additional strikes will take place on Wednesday 31st, September 8th and September 9th.

Unfortunately, this means that our regular delivery service will be disrupted as no collections will take place and most deliveries will be subject to delay.

In reality, this means any order placed after today, Wednesday 24th, at 2pm may be delayed and any order placed after Thursday at 2pm will not be collected until Tuesday 30th.

Delivery may still be delayed until Thursday September 1st.
Royal Mail will attempt to make deliveries of parcels collected on non-strike days and will prioritise certain parcels.

For the second strike on 8th/9th September, there may be delays for orders placed after 2pm on Tuesday 6th September, with deliveries on Saturday 10th and normal collection returning on Monday September 12th.

If you have urgent delivery requirements around these strike days, there are other delivery options on the RIBstore checkout page but these will incur additional cost. If you are able to collect your order from the TubRepairs warehouse in Plympton, this option will also still be available.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused by this strike action.
We will be endeavouring to pack and send all orders at the earliest possible time.

Marcus contacted us as he wasn't sure what he needed to install his new fin box. We've supplied 2 part PVC adhesive, MEK solvent and a patch and here are the results.
