Just a heads up to anyone that uses Etsy to buy or sell. I’ve had my store for years, built it up from nothing and always followed the rules. Complied with them and always paid fees on time, I’ve always followed the system to build up my business and today without any communication I’ve found out it has been suspended.

I’ve appealed the decision and apparently they can’t tell me why and I can’t contact them again, but it’s all lost. All gone. All for nothing. So just a warning to anyone with a store or that buys from there. BE CAREFUL. This is so unfair, especially to small businesses. No explanation.

After looking into it further it seems it’s happened a lot! Lots of different small businesses like mine have lost their store and the platform they have built with explanation, no warning just completely removed. Including 5 star rated stores like mine was. I a star seller with 894 sales and 5 star reviews.

They claim to help and support small businesses but how can they when they can suddenly take away all this hard work? I will hopefully be able to find another route for Rustic Roulade but as it stands now I don’t know what my next step is. I’m so heart broken and moving forward I will resume to use the Etsy platform for any purchases!
