Happidashery Happidashery is a boutique fabric studio where you can buy fabrics & haberdashery or have a lesson. A variety of classes and workshops coming soon!

Having been interested in textiles and crafting from a young age, I found myself wandering into quilting and from this Happidashery was born. I want studio 15 to be a place where anyone with similar interests will find something inspiring to create but also a place where absolute beginners feel confident enough to try something new.

What a wonderfully festive day we had today in Llantrisant!
A full day of Sewing and Creating in wonderful company, followed by a moving Carol Concert in Llantrisant Church . Llantrisant Male Voice Choir were resplendent and were a joy to listen to.

Thank you to Llantrisant Community Council , Ann Callow and all who worked so hard to make the event such a success.

Our sales table raised even more funds for Wales Air Ambulance and that's all down to the generosity of the visitors to Model House Craft and Design Centre and of course Swan Street Stichers who give so generously of their time and skills.

CHARITY SALES TABLE
all set up for tomorrow.
Level 1 of the Model House Craft and Design Centre . Just inside the sewing room door. Lots of lovely handmade items generously made and donated to raise even more funds for
WALES AIR AMBULANCE.
Open 10 until 5pm tomorrow.
The most expensive item on the table is only £2 so the children can buy a "teacher "
gift.

Swan Street Stitchers are having a Sit and Sew on Level one, and there will be lots of handmade items for sale in aid of Wales Air Ambulance too.

Today, I had the pleasure of teaching a lovely young man how to use a Sewing Machine he acquired.
He's very keen and capable.
This is a cushion cover he made during his visit to my studio.
Isn't it lovely, and only his second lesson.
The reason for my post, (apart from sharing his creation) is, I'm wondering if anyone has a cutting ruler or any other unwanted sewing related stuff they no longer need or use.
I have a cutting mat for him but only last week I took anything spare I have to a local school for them to use. Thanks x

This beautiful Quilt has been donated to our sewing group, Swan Street Stitchers and we are hosting a raffle to raise even more funds for the Wales Air Ambulance. It was created by a very talented lady named Jean Twycross.
Numbers are 1-50 and at just £2 a number you're in with a chance to own this stunning Quilt. Please pop in to the Studio to buy a number or DM me if you can't get here.
