🌿✨ Sophie is back this Saturday — 19th September — and we’ve missed her! ✨🌿

Thewoodlandcreative returns to M Cwmbran after a couple of weeks away, and we are so excited to welcome her back. Sophie is an artist through and through — her own illustrations become beautiful woodland‑themed stationery, phone charms and earrings that match her cosy forest aesthetic perfectly.

Alongside her artwork pieces, she also brings lovely candles that fit her woodland theme — warm, earthy, comforting scents that make her stall feel like stepping straight into a little forest hideaway.

🌤 Crossing everything for next weekend!

We’ve had such a good summer it doesn’t leave me much hope for the winter… so please help me prey to the weather gods that any stormy nonsense happens during the week and not on our precious weekends. Market organisers and traders deserve at least one favour from the sky, because after all this is our full time business and if the gazebos ain’t up we ain’t earning!

We dust ourselves off, we shake off the disappointment, and we try again for next week.
We keep pushing the advertising, we keep supporting our traders, and we keep doing what we do best — showing up, even when the weather doesn’t.

So with that… we are crossing everything humanly possible for a great market next week.

As you know, we’ve had to cancel today’s market due to unsafe wind conditions. It’s never a decision we make lightly, and it’s heartbreaking when we know how much prep goes in behind the scenes.

Cwmbran market has been CANCELLED tonight, due to forcasted high winds 😭😭😭

This means we now have 500 desserts to sell.

So this is what we are going to do...

** We will open our Kiosk between 9.30am and 12.30, where you can just COME ALONG and purchase on the spot.

** We will take cash and card payments on collection.

** Please don't message us to order as the quantities are so large, its too difficult to do and our inbox is bursting 🙏🫣

** We will try to do update posts through the morning.

** We are at the very top of Bryglas rd, NP20 5QU.

Due to the last minute cancellation of tomorrow's market - Here's a menu for home collections & local deliveries ❤️

Collection will be from us in Oakfield, Cwmbran between 11am - 12:30pm or we will deliver locally during the same times - Delivery is £2.

Orders will close at 9:30pm as we will have to start rolling pastries then.

❗️ Tomorrow’s Market in M Cwmbran – CANCELLED ❗️

We’ve had to make the really difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s market.
And just to be absolutely clear — we do NOT make these decisions lightly.

Wind speeds are set to increase during the exact hours we’d be trading, and with Monmouth Square being a full-on wind tunnel, it becomes unsafe very quickly. If we could have made this decision earlier, we absolutely would have — but the forecast has shifted throughout the day, and we can’t take risks with traders, stock, gazebos, or the public.

Our bakers have already made a hell of a lot of stock for tomorrow, and this cancellation hits them hard. Please keep your eyes peeled — they’ll be posting what they have available to sell from home, and your support will mean everything.

If you can grab something from them tomorrow — a loaf, a cake, a treat — it genuinely helps keep small businesses going when the weather ruins a trading day.

🎄✨ Frightmare Before Christmas — Applications Now Open just over a week left to get your applications in! ✨🎃

TGSB Markets & Events and astral.soup are very excited to confirm Frightmare Before Christmas at M Cwmbran Centre on Sunday 29th November!

This will be an alternative Christmas market with small amount of décor (not by astral.soup) — she simply will not have the time to go all‑out like Summerween… and with weather being unpredictable efforts might go to waste, but our traders will more than make up for it! And we wanted to put something together!
We’ve already got a fantastic bunch lined up, and we’ll be spread across Gwent Square and Monmouth Square bringing a festive‑alternative vibe throughout the Centre. We only have a small amount of space left! After our Summerween traders have booked on already!

🕒 Trading Hours: 10am–4pm
🎪 Pitch Size: 3m x 3m gazebo provided
💷 Deposit: £10 to secure your space
📅 Full Payment: Due one month before the event

📌 Applications close: 21st September
📌 Responses by: 25th September
