As you know, we’ve had to cancel today’s market due to unsafe wind conditions. It’s never a decision we make lightly, and it’s heartbreaking when we know how much prep goes in behind the scenes.

So here are all the wonderful traders who were supposed to be with us today in Cwmbran. Please head over to their pages, show them some support, and keep an eye out for anyone selling from home — especially our bakers who’ve already made a mountain of stock.

😭😭I hate this part of the job

❗️ Tomorrow’s Market in M Cwmbran – CANCELLED ❗️

We’ve had to make the really difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s market.
And just to be absolutely clear — we do NOT make these decisions lightly.

Wind speeds are set to increase during the exact hours we’d be trading, and with Monmouth Square being a full-on wind tunnel, it becomes unsafe very quickly. If we could have made this decision earlier, we absolutely would have — but the forecast has shifted throughout the day, and we can’t take risks with traders, stock, gazebos, or the public.

Our bakers have already made a hell of a lot of stock for tomorrow, and this cancellation hits them hard. Please keep your eyes peeled — they’ll be posting what they have available to sell from home, and your support will mean everything.

If you can grab something from them tomorrow — a loaf, a cake, a treat — it genuinely helps keep small businesses going when the weather ruins a trading day.

🖤 Summerween… you absolute legend!
I’m only just getting round to posting this but WOW — what an incredible day. I’m honestly blown away by the support for my stall at this event. It was something totally new for us, and even with a cheeky printer issue leaving us lower on alternative stock than planned, we adapted, improvised… and you still loved every bit of it.

Your excitement, your kindness, your feedback — it made the whole day. I’m still buzzing.

A massive thank you to Astral Soup, who organised an absolutely incredible event. The atmosphere, the energy, the creativity — you nailed it.

We’ve finally added some of the new styles to the website, including the tees that flew off the rail. The Take Me To Salam design was a huge hit, and I’m so glad because we’re obsessed with it ourselves.
