It is with great sadness and reluctance that we have had to make the difficult decision to close Siop y Bwl.

We'd like to say a massive thank you to Kevin and Lynfa, for all your hard work, dedication and enthusiasm - it's been fantastic to work alongside you both.

Thank you to our many suppliers who we've got to know very well over the years, either in person or over the phone. We really appreciate all your help and support.

Last but not least, we'd like to thank all our customers for your continued support over the years. It has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you all and we will miss you very much.

*** LEWIS PIES, PASTIES, CAKES AND ROLLS ***
We have deliveries of fresh cakes, pies and rolls from Lewis Pies of Swansea every Wednesday and Friday. Their pies and pasties are delicious and varieties include Corned Beef Pasties, Mince Beef and Onion Pies, Steak and Kidney Pies and Chicken and Mushroom Pies. Chelsea buns are available to buy as singles, but all other cakes come in twin packs and they include Coconut Slices, Carrot Cake, Manchester Tarts, Bakewell Tarts, Chocolate Fudge Cake and their famous Custard Slices. Availability varies according to how many sell on any particular day, but if you want to ensure we have what you want, you can pre-order by either popping in or ringing us on 01443 799312. :)

*** PICKLING TIME AGAIN ***
Yes, it's that time of year already when we start planning how many jars of pickles we want to give as gifts to friends at Christmas. We have both Cocktail and No.1 pickling onions (£2.28/Kg) and three types of pickling vinegar available - Plain Brown, Spiced Brown and Spiced White (5 litres for £5.25). :)

*** FRESH FRUIT AND VEG ***
Just on your doorstep - lovely fresh fruit and vegetables - sold loose so you can buy as little or as much as you want, with no need to buy packs that end up getting wasted or thrown out. If you are cooking for one, we are really happy to sell single items, one carrot, one onion, four mushrooms - whatever you want. If, on the other hand, you have a large family to feed, we sell sacks of potatoes that can be ordered in fresh for you. :)
