Rowan Tree Cancer Care

At whatever age it occurs a diagnosis of cancer can be an extremely devastating experience for most people and can also have a lasting effect, not just for the person with the illness but also their family and close friends. In the Cynon Valley and the surrounding area the Medical Services that treat Cancer are supplemented by the voluntary Services of Rowan Tree Cancer Care. These Voluntary services include free transport for cancer related hospital appointments, complementy therapy, hydrotherapy,art therapy, counselling and wig fitting. The Charity also offers people affected by cancer an opportuniy to meet other people, who have also been affected by cancer, so that they can learn from one another and be strengthered by each other's experiences. Complementary theraies are also availabe for cancer suffers and their carer's at outreach centres based in GP surgeries throughout the Borough. The outreach venues are Ynysybwl, Tonyrefail and Llantrisan

BRIDAL BOUTIQUE Rowan Tree's Bridal Boutique is located at 50/51 Taff Street Pontypridd which sells not only second hand goods , but specializes in bridal and occasion wear. We have a range of both new and donated goods. We are asking brides to donate their wedding dresses to help raise money to keep the charities services free! We have an extensive and quality range for the fraction of the price you would expect to pay on the high street, with the money all going to a good cause. We also stock mother of the bride outfits, accessories, bridesmaid dresses and so on. If you are generously willing to donate your wedding dress/ accessories to us we can arrange a collection, just call the center on 01443 479369 or message us here Don't forget to giftaid your dresses ! :) ( As long as you are a tax payer, when you donate any goods to us we earn 25p extra in every £1 we make on your item!!)
