If you've ever visited the Morbitorium during regular hours you may have seen that it can get pretty busy here (especially on weekends) and quite often I don't get the chance to tell visitors all about our haunted Ouija boards, or the history of the worlds most famous death mask, or the cursed paintings, etc etc

At our late night events you'll get to spend a relaxing hour wandering amongst the collection, hearing all the stories, asking questions, taking photos, and soaking up the atmosphere. We limit admission to a maximum of 6 people to ensure you get the full experience but larger groups can be accommodated on request. And it's cheaper if you bring a friend or two!

You'll also get to see some of the extra items from our overflow collection. These may vary from month to month unless there is a specific themed event such as Medical Marvels or Haunted Objects.

We have three After Dark events remaining this year and some are filling up quickly...

โ€ข September 22nd - there are a few spaces remaining on the 7pm session

โ€ข October 31st - Halloween is extra special because we'll be concentrating on our most haunted items. Plenty of space at 6pm, and a couple of individual spaces at 7pm and 8pm

โ€ข November 30th - All spaces available

Henry dropped off a new batch of his hand carved hiking staffs to the shop this morning. I love the faces and the mushrooms ๐Ÿ˜

They'll be available in the shop from tomorrow and I'll investigate postage options if anyone lives too far away to collect

This canvas strait jacket has been put out on display in the museum collection today. A relic of control, fear, and the strange human urge to bind what we don't understand. Once used to keep the "unruly" still, now they act as a testament to how far we've come in understanding mental illnesses and their treatment
