Front row seat to the chopping board 🔪

Seafood and Sounds is back on 12 and 13 September and you're invited to our live kitchen demos. Talented local chefs will be cooking fresh Poole seafood in front of you, sharing the tricks they actually use and answering the questions you have always wanted to ask.

Three demos a day, both days. 11.30am, 1.30pm and 3.30pm.

Free to watch. No booking. Just turn up hungry.

Little ones in tow? Free children's entertainment is running inside too. Saturday 11am to 3pm and Sunday 1pm to 3pm.

I am so blooming excited to announce that I have now got a schedule of amazing bookable art workshops taking place at my Pop Up Open Studio event at Gather The Dolphin Poole from Wednesday 23rd - Friday 25th September (this month!) Check out the slides and click the link below to book! You can also find these on my events page.

These are running alongside my pay-as-you art drop in sessions, where you can help yourself to a wide range of materials and make what you want for a price of just £5 per person!

More structured workshops are £20 per person where you are guided towards a specific outcome and focus on building skills and learning new techniques. I am also delighted to welcome Robyn and Amy from Zine Cuisine to deliver a workshop on Zine making! This will be running 3-6pm on Friday 25th September.

Other workshops led by myself are:

🖌️ Lino Printing - Wednesday 23rd 6-8pm
🎨 Collage Landscapes - Thursday 24th 2-4pm

Thousands of years of tradition, right here in Poole.

Guardian Chinese Herb and Acupuncture brings a practice with roots stretching back over two millennia to The Dolphin. Herbal medicine and acupuncture have been passed down through generations of practitioners in China, built on the idea of treating the whole person rather than one thing at a time.

The shelves of dried herbs, roots and barks tell that story. Every blend is made up by hand, the same way it has been done for centuries.

Pop in for a chat if you're curious. They're always happy to explain how it works.
