Thank you for supporting our effort.

All the lifts in the BCP Council's Dolphin Centre Car Park have now been broken for an unacceptable amount of time.

Following being contacted by residents and business owners I wrote to the Council on the 30th of April asking for answers. Over 6 weeks on, and despite repeated chasing, I have still not had a response from BCP Council and the site is still inaccessible for many users.

This lack of communication from BCP Council is unacceptable and I will continue to chase this until there is a clear timeline for ensuring the Dolphin Centre is accessible for everyone. I was elected to represent local people and part of my role includes holding BCP Council to account.

Fancy trying something new this week.

Resin artist Iuliana of Pouring Soul is setting up in GATHER at The Dolphin from 15 to 21 June with a colourful exhibition and a week of hands on workshops.
No experience needed. She will walk you through the techniques and the safety basics so you can pour, swirl and make your own finished resin piece to take home. It is relaxed, welcoming and a brilliant way to get creative.
Open daily 10am to 4pm. Just drop in.

Today in GATHER. Come and show your support!

Nothing is impossible!

Here is your chance to step inside the world of a record breaking mountaineer.

On 13 and 14 June the Nimsdai Foundation takes on a 24 hour challenge in GATHER at The Dolphin, a physical feat inspired by the mountaineering achievements of founder Nims Purja. A nominated team pushes through the night and you can throw yourself in too.

Pull on a real Everest summit suit. Take on the What Should I Pack challenge. Push your limits with the 14 Peaks altitude game. Watch the story unfold on the big screen then shop the Nimsdai Store, where a share of every sale goes straight back to the charity.

Open Saturday 13 June 7.30am to 9.30pm, and Sunday 14 June, 7.30am to 6.30pm. Just drop in.

Public participants welcome with a signed disclaimer. Under 18s with an adult.
