Bridge Cottage Art Cafe

Ailsa & Ruth met working at Am Bard Cafe with the brilliant baker & cafe manager Sally - where they connected over good coffee and Highland life.

Ailsa then went on to run Bridge Cottage Café, with her mum, Jennifer and Jennifer's husband Iain whilst Ruth completed her degree in Philosophy and Literature.

After building great success at the café, Jennifer and Iain decided to follow a new path; moving to Speyside where Jennifer opened Come Awa' In art gallery in Aberlour. (Go check it out!)

Ailsa & Ruth then joined forces to create 'Bridge' as we know it today.

At Bridge we wanted to create a 3rd place - somewhere between your living room and your work space - A space where all walks of life can come together to enjoy good coffee, homemade cake and a laugh.

Today we have been celebrating 6 months of Bridge Cafe. Thank you to all of those who have visited us, laughed with us, and supported us, as well as big thanks to Jennifer and Iain, who left us in such good stead to continue on with the cafe and make it our own ✨️

Ruth has been busy redesigning and redecorating the gallery gift shop at Bridge and we are so pleased (and relieved) to say it's back open and filled with beautiful bits and bobs. Thank you for all the lovely comments from those who already visited last weekend 🛍💕

Here you can find unique artwork & locally crafted lovely things... as well as our new range of cafe merch - all of which is hand screen-printed in Inverness by Ailsa.

We will be open slightly different hours this week:

Thursday - 10 - 4pm
Friday - 10 - 4pm
Saturday - 10 - 2pm (coffee & cake only)
Sunday - CLOSED

We are delighted by all of your lovely positive feedback on the redec of the cafe! Thank you all so much, it's been a great couple of weeks 🥰

We're off for a well earned break, see you again in 2 weeks for more tasty treats, delicious coffee and an update on our Summer opening hours.

Hello friends

We will be open more days than usual next week!

Come visit us Tuesday through to Sunday 10am-4pm ☺️☕️
