Took a wee hedgehog to the local rescue centre Quills at Kilmore.
Found him curled in a ball at our road end not looking very lively. Hedgehogs are nocturnal so if seen out during the day especially in hot days its likely they need help. Dont give them cows milk. The lady said Lambs milk is the closest to Hedgehog milk and she was off give him some Fortisip 1st. Cat food is also fine, ideally not the fish based. Id given him water and some wet cat food til we were able take him to her amd its a good sign he had eaten some. So fingers xd! She estimated him to be 6 weeks old and weaned

Rambling Roses are fantastic addtions to any garden if you have space...this one has a heady scent and is called Rosa mulliganii . very rampant and flower on last years growth so need awareness if pruning. can be left to rampage through a fence or wild part of the garden or up a tree, or like hours be tamed to give a fabulous display on the pergola
