At our last event, wrapping up the busy week for our charity fundraisers at Fèis Ìle, it was great to see wee Harris having a ball at Islay Ales in his brand new RNLI wellies from the Islay Lifeboat Shop stall! 💛

If you don’t know, Fèis Ìle is a 10 day festival of malt and music across the Islay and Jura communities which sees the population triple! For Islay RNLI it’s a great chance to have fun while meeting and chatting with supporters of our charity. Thank you to everyone who helped us raise an astounding £2,169.08 which helps us continue to save lives at sea. 👏

Big shout out to the volunteer bucket shakers, paraders, game hosts, stall holders, tea makers and sausage sizzlers who gave their time to fundraise 💪(and Stormy Stan too of course!)

We’re looking for friendly people of all ages and abilities who can spare a little time to help save lives at sea ⚓
🌊The shop will be open for all this Saturday.

The Islay RNLI shop at Port Askaig Pier is run entirely by volunteers - and right now we only have one! Could you spare some time, even just a couple hours a month, to help keep the shop open and support a lifesaving cause? 🌊
